Phylum: Final Draft

The full manuscript of Phylum: The Bulogan Incident is finished. Now all that is needed is a cover to cover read through to assure cohesion and see if there is anything else that I need to change or include. The ebook will be live on Amazon before the end of February. I will also be doing the usual free promotion when it hits.

New Book: Phylum

I just hit 50,000 words while writing my new Sci-fi novel. It's about 80-85% finished. The new book is called Phylum and is set in the present day Philippines. I will update with a proper blurb or synopsis one of these days. Finished with Soulbond

I have finished editing Soulbond from beginning to end again as part of the Ecto Chronicles. This was my main goal. I'm going to start reading through the next book, Hard Reset to see what I find but generally I was happier with the sequels to begin with because they've gotten more polish than the first one. I probably won't end up doing the same deep editing that Soulbond got. And truth be told, I'm really excited for the re release of the Ecto Chronicles so I can only delay gratification for so long!

Updates

My life has been grueling the past few months. I have written almost nothing because I had no spare time at all.

Three things:

1. I am probably going to do some consolidating by taking down the four smaller Ecto ebooks from internet publishers in favor of just promoting the big omnibus The Ecto Chronicles.

2. I'm finally going to give this site it's long needed face lift. In fact I've already started.

3. I'm currently about 15% into writing a new science fiction novel set in present day earth. More details to come. 

New Book

I'm currently working on a brand new book. It doesn't have a name yet but it's a little over half way finished. It's in the genre of sci-fi action/adventure. It has nothing to do with ectos, it's not post-apocalyptic and it's not set on Earth. I'll release more details on it later...

What's Next

I hate to say that the Ecto Series is definitively finished and closed forever because how do you know? You can always revisit something no matter how long it's been since you 'finished' working on it. You never know when inspiration will rear its ugly head again to torment you. But for the first time since I finished book one, I'm at the end of a book and have no ideas of where to go next. The ecto well has run dry. That's not to say that I'm done with writing all together. I'm already a few chapters into a brand new sci-fi book set in a new place with new people. So that on top of having a new job, a kid and going back to school, I won't be writing about ectos again any time soon.

However, I may work on an omnibus edition that includes all four books and maybe some extra stuff in the not too distant future.

Helloween Thirteen: Out Now!

The final chapter... uh... book of the Ecto Saga, Helloween Thirteen is finally out. It is currently available for download on your e-reader at Amazon. Feel free to buy twenty or so of them. It will also be coming to Barnes & Nobel momentarily.

Helloween Thirteen Progress

I'm making unprecedented strides in writing Helloween Thirteen. I seriously just wrote an entire chapter in one sitting. That has never happened before. Funny how being in between jobs and having no money seems to free up a lot of time. I guess that's how most books get written. Anyway, I'll be done writing it within a month, I'm certain. However this does not necessarily mean that the book is coming out in less than a month... But it might.
